![]() ![]() Stay updated with the latest trends, materials, and advancements in furniture design to provide innovative and creative solutions to clients.Conduct research and actively participate in internal meetings and product presentations to build and maintain knowledge of products, pricing, and lead times.Collaborate with vendors, suppliers, and manufacturers to obtain quotes and product samples.Select and coordinate textiles and other finish samples.Specify standard and custom selections using the appropriate software.Create visuals and present to internal team, design partners and clients.Build furniture and accessory packages with an understanding of budget pricing, specifications, ADA code compliance, and finish options.Research and source custom product solutions and furniture pieces, considering factors such as style, comfort, durability, sustainability, and budget.Review architectural plans and finish specifications to coordinate with furniture selections.Conduct thorough assessments of client spaces if required to evaluate existing furniture, layout, and overall design aesthetics.Create furniture and accessory lookbooks for projects in early development.Collaborate with designers and clients to understand the project goals, functional requirements, budget and schedule. ![]() Once the training period has ended, a minimum of three days on site are required, with the possibility of up to two days working from home. Initially the Designer will be required to work on site at the objekts studio in Belltown five days a week, for training purposes. A stellar work ethic and outstanding communication skills will set you apart from other candidates. The ability to prioritize and follow through with multiple tasks to completion is paramount to this position.
